Head Golf Coach – Job Description

Alexandria College is seeking a Head Golf Coach to lead and develop its collegiate golf program. This position is responsible for player development, team leadership, and program management while ensuring compliance with NJCAA rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Player Development – Train and mentor student-athletes, fostering skill growth and competitive performance.
• Tournament Planning – Schedule, attend, and oversee team participation in local, regional, and national tournaments.
• Travel Coordination – Arrange transportation, including driving students in and out of state for competitions.
• Budget Management – Oversee program expenditures, ensuring financial responsibility within allocated funds.
• Regional & National Participation – Lead the team and individual athletes in regional events and NJCAA-sanctioned competitions.
• Compliance & Regulation – Adhere to NJCAA policies and institutional athletic guidelines.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for collegiate golf. Interested candidates should demonstrate coaching experience, knowledge of NJCAA regulations, and commitment to student-athlete success.

• Collaboration with Athletic Directors – Work closely with the athletic department to align program goals with broader institutional objectives.
• Academic Monitoring – Track student-athletes’ academic performance, supporting success in both athletics and coursework.
• Annual Training Completion – Fulfill state-required ELM training annually.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal

Pay: $4,650.00 - $9,900.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Day shift
• Evenings as needed
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
